Poster: The New Yorker cover illustration from January 24th, 1970, by Charles E Martin, featuring the Guggenheim museum. Purchased at the Guggenheim New York.
Catalogue, 100 most relevant pieces from the National Museum of Anthropology, Mexico. I was instantly attracted by the cover photo: an image of the Coatlicue statue.
The British Museum, World of Textiles by Diane Waller. The book has incredible photos and its beyond inspiring for textile and pattern lovers like myself.
I bought these slide viewers around 2011 in Paris and Spain. I think they are pretty rare and are of course some of my most precious museum memorabilia.
Catalogue for Matisse: The cut-outs exhibition, held at MoMA and Tate Modern in 2014-2015. I had the chance to see it at MoMA, and a few years later I found the book on sale at Tate. The quality of the photos is incredible.
African Masks in the Barbier-Mueller collection in Switzerland. A very complete book, with quality photos and useful information. I think I found it at the MET.
I love to collect the classic tote bags with the museum's image. They are usually not expensive, are a great gift and always useful.
Maps are usually free, and besides being a great companion during the visit, they work as a souvenir. This one has the image of the museum's masterpieces on the back.
This is a set of 10 double cards with envelopes, with dutch tiles motifs. I like to send letters and greeting cards for special occasions, so for me, this is a must-have museum item.
Since we can't take home our favorite artwork, we get the classic postcard. I collect or give them as gifts, but never write on them.
I wear glasses, so lens cloths are always with me. They usually have good quality and are always lovely to look at.
